Skating On Thin Ice

Skating On Thin Ice is a project exploring the uneasiness that comes with being a young woman. It depicts the little moments of dwelling and isolation as well as the moments of liberation and happiness in one’s life. Feeling as though your life is beautiful and freeing yet at the same time, feeling an uneasiness about the uncertainty of what to do - which underlies most young people's lives. Young femininity and adolescence is indeed a powerful and scary thing.

The final exhibition of this piece was in the format of a zine - although it has had many different formats throughout the years.
