Paralysis

The zine ‘Paralysis’ is a project is a collection of images in response to the phenomenon of sleep paralysis and my own creative portrayal of what I experienced. Sleep paralysis is an experience of being temporarily unable to move or talk during the transitional periods between sleep and wakefulness: at sleep onset or upon awakening. For this specific project, I worked with my lovely friends, Sasha, Lily and Madeson casted as both myself and my sleep paralysis demons to create a eerie vibe throughout the entire book.

This project was shot on expired film as well as digitally to also create a similar eerie and numbing effect.
